Terms and Conditions

We holds all rights, at our discretion to edit, modify, change, remove and/or add to these terms and conditions as well as the hosting packages without prior notice.

Free Plans

Carousel offers free hosting plans. There are no attached costs or hidden fees. There is free hosting for both subdomain and domains. The only requirement that is different from a paid plan is that you link back to us with either an obvious link on every page (sidebar or footer) or using one of our banners, available here.
All free accounts should have their website up and running within three months since application.
*Only the hosting is free. For the free domain plans, the domain is not included.

After Ordering

After you sent your payment, please allow us to verify your payment and completeness of your order in 48-72 hours. You will then receive your login information via email so it’s very important that you use a correct & valid email address.

Payments

Payments are only accepted via Paypal. If you need to pay in way other than Paypal, please contact us and we can see if there are other options. All renewal for hosting must be paid on or before the renewal/due date.

Overdue Payment

Reminders for the due date are usually sent out over two weeks in advance. Please make sure you pay your bills on time. If you do not settle your bills 3 days after the due date then a late payment fee will be applied to your outstanding invoice. Every day after this, there will be an additional fee of $5. If a week has passed, your site will be locked and cease to operate (including all websites under your account) and you will be required to pay a reactivation fee amounting to $20. If no payment is received after this, your account will be terminated.

Restricted/Unacceptable Content

Please adhere to legal legislation, and the morality code (it’s just a good habit to get into). To ensure server safety, we have put a restriction or ban against what you can have on your website. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Audio or video streaming
  • Social Networking Sites
  • Phishing Sites
  • Fraud sites
  • Spam websites
  • Spamming Email / Mass Email
  • Hacking Websites
  • Gambling Websites
  • Arcade / Online Gaming Websites
  • Image Hosting Sites
  • File Hosting/Storage Sites
  • File Hosting / Backup hosting
  • Proxy Sites / IRC
  • Any form of warez hosting or linking
  • Virus / Malware / Spyware
  • Adult Sites, Illegal / Child Pornography
  • Extremely racist/offensive content
  • Sites posting materials about Terrorism or reposting articles from wikileaks.org
  • Copyrighted music/video files
  • Stolen content
  • Torrentflux or similar
  • Rapidshare link generator, Rapidleech or similar
  • PHPizabi and YaBB Forums or any forums using flat file as database
  • Outdated scripts or software
  • Pirated Scripts
  • Any script that causes harm to the server such as but not limited to some wordpress plugins
  • Scripts using more than 20% of server resources

If restricted content as mentioned above is found on your account, we reserve the right to remove it and terminate or suspend your account with or without prior notice, depending on the severity and nature of the offense.

Overselling / Fair Usage / Unlimited, Unmetered

Carousel sells bandwidth, disk space, and other resources that may say “unlimited” or “unmetered”, which only means we do not set a quota on your account. In all cases, the services are for normal use only, and any activity that results in excessive usage is strictly prohibited. You must not needlessly create accounts, install any script/software or upload any files which add space usage if you have no intention of using them.
As part of the fair usage policy, excessive CPU usage is not allowed. You may not initiate the following on our shared hosting servers. Generally, with unmetered/unlimited space and bandwidth, you will be able to use it without encountering problems but if your website is crippling the server then we retain the right to suspend or terminate your site with or without prior notice.
You may not:

  • Run any type of interactive real-time chat applications that require server resources. Remotely-hosted services are fully allowed.
  • Run stand-alone, unattended server-side processes at any point in time on the server.
  • Run any type of web spider or indexer (including Google Cash / AdSpy) on shared servers.
  • Run cron entries with intervals of less than 15 minutes.
  • Run download sites.
  • Running 6 or more backups at one time or running an automated backup every 5 minutes. This is not allowed.
  • Customer may not use disk space as a file repository, or dump site. This includes but is not limited too; warez, serialz, sound files (mp3/wav), applications, zip/rar/iso files. Your account is to be used for hosting a website and not for file storage

File Usage and Storage

Hosting accounts are not to be used for the purposes of distributing and/or storing an unusual amount of files. Carousel provides a website hosting service not a remote file storage service. Any web site whose disk space usage for storing the files exceed 60% of its total usage, either in terms of total size or number of files, will be deemed to be using unusual amount of files. At that point, if we find that those files are illegal or harmful in any way, you will be suspended or terminated with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the harm.

Hosting Sites

Should you choose to host other accounts with or without Reseller hosting, this is fine. Subdomains are not allowed to providing hosting. The only thing Reseller allows is that you can offer your hostees cPanels.

All of your hostees must follow our terms and conditions listed here. You are responsible for enforcing these terms with your hostees, and will be held accountable for any of their actions.

Server Abuse

Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to our servers is strictly prohibited. Should you violate all the terms listed in this page, your account will be terminated immediately without a refund.

Uptime / Dataloss / Backups

Our goal is to provide the best possible uptime of 99.9%, but we am not responsible for any loss of data or business on your part. You are responsible for backing up your website and any subdomains and keeping your backups up to date. Remember to back up not only your files but your databases.
In rare instances, some clients may experience data loss, we can not be held responsible for any data loss under any circumstances. It is strongly recommended that you keep of own site backups and files, just in case this happens.
You may purchase monthly or weekly backups under Paid Add-Ons.

Cancellation & Refunds

All services are non-refundable. You will not be issued with a refund unless we feel a refund is necessary. This is mainly because of PayPal transaction fees and abuse of the policy.

Domain Registration

Prices for all domain registrations are paid per year and are subject to vary. If the price changes, you must pay the new price after your one year contract is up.

Promotions and Prices

All promotions on this website are limited time offers. After the time specified is up, you will need to pay the usual fee. Under no circumstances will the discounted price be renewed. If the prices of any prices, for any reason, rise, you will be required to pay the price of the new plan on renewal of your plan or switch to a new plan.

Suspensions and Terminations

We have the right to terminate and/or suspend your account with or without notice, based on your violation of our policy. By ordering hosting from us, you accept this agreement. All termination and suspension are based on my judgment and discretion. No refund or monetary compensation will be given to your account if suspended or terminated.
